DINGWALL, Dingwall and Highland Marts, (January, 27th) sold 1,218 sheep of all classes.

Lambs (725) averaged £48.35 and sold to £74.00 gross, (twice) for a pair of BFL and Charolais crosses from Dalmore, Alness.
Ewes (416) averaged £53.08 and sold to £130 gross for Texels, from The Cloy, Fortrose.
Rams (54) averaged £63.31 and sold to £180 for a Texel from Allangrange Farm, Muir of Ord.
Feeding sheep (23) sold to £88 gross for Texels from The Cloy.
All classes of store lambs met a satisfactory trade with prime ewes & rams selling well.
