FORT WILLIAM, Dingwall and Highland Marts, (February, 4th) sold 771 sheep of all classes.
Lambs (385) sold to £70.00 gross for a Bleu du maine from Glendoe Estates, Borlum.
Ewes (181) sold to £49.00 gross for a pen of Mules from Glendoe Estates.
Rams (183) sold to £60.00 gross for a pair of Texel crosses from Ardtornish Farms, Oban.
Feeding sheep (22) sold to £35.00 gross for a Texel cross wedder from Dalilea, Acharacle.
"Fleshy and well bred Rams, ewes and lambs met a firm enquiry, whilst weathered and plainer types met a satisfactory demand.
