DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (October, 14th) sold 6,831 store sheep.
Lambs (5,038) averaged £46.57 and sold to £69.50 for Texel crosses from Croft 8, Inverness.
Gimmers (124) sold to £125 for Texel crosses from Cambusmore Estate, Dornoch.
Ewes (1,559) sold to £90 for Mules from Simpsons Croft, Scotsburn.
Feeding sheep (89) sold to £67 for a Cross wedder from Lynroich, Gorthleck.
Rams (21) sold to £115 for a Suffolk ram from Cadbollmount, Fearn.

"A good show of lambs met an extremely keen demand. All classes of ewes also sold well."
