DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts, (January, 11th) sold 2,324 sheep of all classes.
Lambs (1220) sold to £70 gross for Cheviots from South Balkeith, Tain.
Ewes (730) sold to £92 gross for Texel crosses from Ardnagrask, Muir of Ord.
Feeding sheep (46) sold to £58 gross for a Texel cross wedder from Ballone, Abriachan.
Rams (328) to £140 gross for a Cheviot from 72 Strathy West, Thurso.

"Strong store lambs met a firm enquiry. Continental and strong Cheviot ewes and rams also sold well, all others more hesitant.
