DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts (March, 8th) sold 28 cattle, 72 sheep, 18 pigs and 207 lots of poultry and equipment at their special sale of rare and minority breeds.

Cattle (28) sold to £410 for a Highland cow with bullock calf at foot from, Oldany Farm, Drunbeg. Sheep (72) sold to £54 for 2 crop Texel ewes scanned in lamb from No. 68 Fiondle, Lairg. Pigs (18) sold to £35 for eight week old male and female Tamworths and a three month old Old spot Female, from Ballinluig, Grantown-On-Spey. Poultry (207) sold to £320 for a Trio of Scots Dumpy from Longoe Farm, Mey, Thurso.
