DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (February, 5th) sold 208 adult head of breeding cattle and 5 store cattle.
In calf heifers (73) sold to £1,750 gross for a Saler cross from Westfield Farm, Thurso.
In calf cows (134) sold to £1,450 gross (four times) for British Blue crosses from the dispersal from Craggan Sheaig, Balnain, and for Simmental crosses from the part dispersal from Rhannich, Edderton.
Bulls (one) sold to £2,700 gross for a Limousin from the dispersal Craggan Sheaig.
Store cattle (5) sold to £750 gross for a pair of Limousin crosses from the Craggan Sheaig dispersal.
