FORT WILLIAM, Dingwall & Highland Marts, (February, 8th) sold 566 sheep of all classes.
Lambs (326) sold to £60 gross for a Blackface from 19 Blarmafoldach, Fort William.
Ewes (103) sold to £52 gross for a Suffolk from Greenfield, Invergarry.
Rams (137) sold to £66 gross for a Cheviot from Callart Farm, Onich.
"Fleshy and well bred rams, ewes and lambs met a firm enquiry, whilst weathered and plainer types met a satisfactory demand."
