DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (February, 14th) sold 574 store cattle, 6 adult head of breeding cattle.

Bullocks (312) averaged 240.4p, (229.9p last year) and sold to 300.3p per kg twice for a 303kg a single Charolais cross and a pair Charolais crosses from Creagmhor, and £1,500 for a single 835kg Limousin cross from Ashley, North Kessock.

Heifers (256) averaged 229.0, (220.3p last year) and sold to 294.6p per kg for a pair of Limousin crosses from Clury farm, Dulnain Bridge and £1,260 for a single 660kg Simmental from Hilton Farm, Tain.

Young Bulls (6) averaged 204.4p and sold to 216.9p per kg and £710 for a Shorthorn cross from 168 West Helmsdale.

Cow in calf (1) sold to £860 from 16 Balvaird, Muir of Ord.

Cow with male calf (5) sold to £1,420 for an Aberdeen Angus cow from 4 West Shinness, Lairg.

OTM feeding Bulls (4) averaged 116.8p and sold to 128.3p per kg and £1,270 for a 990kg Limousin from 25 Camult Muir.
