DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (February, 28th) sold 385 store cattle and 2 adult head of breeding cattle.

Bullocks (209) averaged 236.9p and sold to 313.7p per kg for a pair of 255kg Simmental crosses from Refouble, Glenferness and £1,310 gross for a pair of 698kg Aberdeen Angus crosses from Raitcastle Farm, Nairn.

Heifers (166) averaged 229.8p and sold to 298.5p per kg for a pair of 268kg Simmental crosses from Refouble, and £1,240 gross for a 660kg Simmental cross from Tomcluich, Nairn.

Young bulls (10) averaged 171.2p per kilo and sold to 215.7p per kg for a 510kg Simmental and £1,100 gross for a 510kg Simmental both from Wellhouse, Beauly.

Breeding cattle (2) sold to £1,127 gross for a Simmental cross Heifer in calf from Mill of Buckie, Banff.

"All classes continued at recent keen rates."

OTM Bulls (4) sold to 109.2p per kg and £1,200 gross for a Charolais from Kindeace.
