DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts, (January, 16th) sold 3,199 sheep of all classes.
Lambs (1,988) averaged £57.86 and sold to £80 twice for Cheviots from Shieldaig, Strathcarron and Texel crosses from Bogburn, Dingwall.
Ewes (678) averaged £46.46 and sold to £93 for Suffolks from Raffin, Tore.
Rams (478) averaged £45.61 and sold to £110 for a Cheviot from Achentoul Farms, Kinbrace.
Feeding sheep (55) sold to £46 for Cheviot ewes from Redpoint Farm, Gairloch.
