FORT WILLIAM, Dingwall & Highland Marts, (February, 7th) sold 388 sheep of all classes.
Lambs (240) averaged £50.67 and sold to £80 gross for a pen of Lleyn crosses from Steall, Fort William.
Ewes & feeding sheep (40) averaged £40.34 and sold to £67 gross for a Lleyn cross ewe from Steall.
Rams (108) sold to £75 gross for a pair of Cheviots from Glebehill, Kilchoan.
"All classes of stock were brought forward in strong condition, this was reflected in the price which saw a large increase in value on the year, resulting in a successful sale."
