DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (July, 16th) sold 1,378 store cattle at the Anniversary show and sale.
The Judge, Mr Duncan Urquhart of Hilton Park Farm, Banff, chose a 575kg intermediate Charolais cross bullock from Messrs J McKenzie & Co, Wester Craiglands, Fortrose, which realised �1130 to the judge, as his Overall Champion in the T.S.H. Burns & Son, Solicitors sponsored show of single cattle. The Reserve Champion award went to a 510kg intermediate Limousin bullock from Gaich Farms, Lower Gaich, Dulnain Bridge, realising �1120 to D Morrison, 141 Burnside, Kinlochbervie.
