FORT WILLIAM, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (August, 29th) sold 2659 store sheep of all classes.
Lambs (2546) averaged £23.81 per head and sold to £48 gross for a Suffolk from Traigh Farm, Arisaig.
Feeding sheep (113) sold to £28 gross for Jacobs from Coille Beag, Whitebridge.
"All classes met a satisfactory trade, with well bred types keenly bid for."
