Prime Bullocks (8) averaged 203.9p (-1.1p) and sold to 220.0p per kg and £1,314.45gross.

Prime heifers (18) averaged 201.0p (+2.8p) and sold to 216.0p per kg and £1,274.40 gross.

Prime heifers (18) averaged 201.0p (+2.8p) and sold to 216.0p per kg for a 555kg Limousin cross and 216.0p per kg and £1,274.40 gross for a 590kg Gasconne cross both from Bridgend Farm, Dingwall.

SQQ 36.5kg to 45.5kg (265) averaged 174.0p per kg.

Ewes & Feeding sheep (176) sold to £71 gross for a Suffolk cross ewe from Crasky, Duncanston.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (October, 9th) sold 653 weaned calves at their first annual district ballot show and sale.   The show champion sponsored by Barclays Transport, Portsoy and judged by Miss Sophie Watt, Cairntack, Balmedie was awarded to a six month old Limousin cross bullock from Mr D MacLean, 4 Bualnaluib, Aultbea scaling in at 260kg and realising £800 gross.
