FORT WILLIAM, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (October, 8th) sold 2301 sheep of all classes.
Lambs (1602) averaged £20.25 per head and sold to £50.50 gross for Crosses from Blargie Farm, Laggan.
Ewes (648) sold to £31 gross for Lleyns from Tign an Uilt, Kilchoan.
Feeding sheep (50) sold to £39 gross for a Cheviot tup from Torlundy Farm, Fort William.
"A mixed show on offer met a satisfactory demand."
