Black Isle And Easter Ross Area Committees Of Highland Council Amalgamated

Members of Highland Council, who met today, Thursday, 14 December 2023, have agreed to amalgamate two local area committees. The former Black Isle and Easter Ross Area Committees will be merged to form a single area committee.
The new Committee will have ten elected members in total, made up of:
Sarah Atkin (Ward 9 - Black Isle)
Tamala Collier (Ward 6 – Cromarty Firth)
Lyndsey Johnston (Ward 9 – Black Isle)
Derek Louden (Ward 7 – Tain and Easter Ross)
Morven-May MacCallum (Ward 9 – Black Isle)
Pauline Munro (Ward 6 – Cromarty Firth)
Molly Nolan (Ward 6 – Cromarty Firth)
Alasdair Rhind (Ward 7 – Tain and Easter Ross)
Maureen Ross (Ward 7 – Tain and Easter Ross)
Maxine Smith (Ward 6 – Cromarty Firth)
A Chair and Vice-Chair of the newly-formed committee will be agreed when it first meets during 2024.
