Highland Road Conditions Report for Tuesday 21 January 2025 are as follows:
Skye and Raasay 05:51 - No winter action required. Positive road surface temperatures across area. No overnight issues to report.
Lochaber 07:23 - No winter action required. Positive temperatures with no problems overnight.
Inverness 07:25 - Roads are dry or salty and damp. No problems
Caithness 07:39 - Most routes have higher temperatures than forecast. Treatment taking place for inland roads as the temperature is dropping. No overnight issues reported
Sutherland 07:46 - A mix of dry and damp throughout the network with a good sparkle on some of the higher routes. All routes treated accordingly. No known overnight issues.
Badenoch and Strathspey 07:51 - Temperatures are colder than expected. Primary and Secondary routes are being treated on higher ground this morning. No known overnight issues.
Nairn 07:53 - Temperatures are colder than expected. Primary and Secondary routes are being treated on higher ground this morning. No known overnight issues.
East Ross-shire 08:58 - Roads are dry with residual salt on Primary and Secondary network routes. Some frost appearing with the daylight on any untreated surfaces but no known issues.
