Phew, what a long week! We've just finished checking every web site link contained within the Caithness Business Index. On top of that, we've added links to every Caithness Business Facebook page, Twitter feed and YouTube video we could find on those web sites.

Our totals now stand at:

We've also removed over 150 links to web sites that are long gone.

We're fairly certain that although our index is pretty comprehensive it will be by no means complete. If you are in Business in Caithness and are not listed on our site then please use our submissions form to send us your details.

If you already have a listing on our site and wish to change the details or add more information please use our contact page to send us updates.

Please help support you local businesses by clicking "like" on their Facebook page, following them on Twitter and watching their video on YouTube.

As some people will already have noticed, all of the articles that we add to our indexes (Business, Sport and Arts) automatically get sent to our Facebook page (and soon to Twitter). These articles are seen on the pages of over 3100 people who "like" us on Facebook with a total viewing audience of over 300,000 Facebook users (friends of friends etc) as well as the normal visitors to our site. So businesses in Caithness should be taking advantage of this and sending us their press releases for us to share with the world. As we're sure everyone is already aware we don't charge any kind of fee for our promotion of Caithness and we're happy to make the world aware that Caithness is a vibrant community worth visiting and a place worth doing business in.

Business Index Contact Us Form Repairs

A long term error in the code for the Contact Us page on our Business Index site has now been identified and repaired. This should now mean that any reports of updates to Business details, changes or removals required of properties for sale or rent will now be able to be acted upon instead of being lost to the digital ether.
