What does this involve?
This free 6-week programme helps businesses in the Highlands and Islands understand the impact of climate change on their business and take steps to prepare for it.
As part of the programme, you'll learn about your company's carbon footprint and come up with an action plan to lower your carbon emissions.
The programme provides around 8 to 12 hours of guided support over the course of 6 weeks.
You'll take part in:
an initial call to get to know your organisation
3 online group workshops lasting 2.5 hours each
a session to finalise your action plan, with expert feedback
There will also be optional follow-up calls to help you tackle specific challenges.
You'll finish the programme with:
an understand of your carbon footprint
a clear action plan for your carbon emissions
a tailored to-do list of quick wins to lower your emissions and costs
a resource pack containing step-by-step guides
access to a growing network of more than 275 organisations on similar journeys
The programme will run in cohorts until November 2026.
To make it easier to calculate your carbon footprint, your business should ideally have been trading for at least a year. However, you can still take part even if you've been trading for less than a year.
