DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, sponsored by Camus Consulting and the Bissett Family amd supported by the Zwartbles Sheep Association, (November, 24th) sold 65 Pedigree, Pure and Cross Bred Zwartbles.   Dingwall's Annual Highland Zwartbles Sale sold sheep up and down the country.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (November 8th) sold 443 weaned and store calves, 33 Adult head of breeding cattle including Highland and Highland crosses.   Bullocks (216) averaged 235.6p per kg and sold to 369.2p per kg for a 195kg British Blue cross from 37 & 55 Sangomore, Durness and £1,680 gross for a 755kg Beef Shorthorn cross from Ormiston, Glendell.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (October 30th) sold 11 Prime Cattle.   Prime Bullocks (3) averaged 286.4p per kg and sold to 290.0p per kg and £1,914.00 gross for a 660kg Limousin cross from Ashley, North Kessock Prime Heifers (8) averaged 288.3p per kg and sold to 302.0p per kg for a 585kg Charolais cross from Mountrich Farm, Dingwall and £1,805.60 gross for a 610kg Charolais cross also Mountrich, Dingwall.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (October 17th) sold 1,356 Prime Sheep.   New Season Lambs (683) averaged 237.6p per kg and £134 gross.

FORT WILLIAM: Dingwall and Highland Marts Ltd (October 12th) sold 176 store cattle and OTM cattle.   Bullocks (110) averaged 243.5per kg and sold to 295.0per kg for a pen of 285kg Shorthorn cross from National Trust for Scotland, Isle of Canna and £990 gross for a 420kg Shorthorn cross from 9 Bohuntin, Kilmonivaig.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (October 6th) sold 184 rams at its Annual Show and Sale of Blackface Rams kindly sponsored by HBS Ring Limited and PK Nutrition ably judged by Mr D.  Walton, Wamwood Hill.

DINGWALL., Dingwall and Highlands Marts Ltd (September 29th) sold 5,489 Store lambs & feeding sheep.   Lambs (5,431) averaged £62.28 and sold to £117 gross for a pen of Charolais crosses from Wester Ardroy, Balchraggan Ewes and feeding sheep (58) sold to £136 gross for a Texel cross ewe from Ivy Cottage, Thurso.  

Dingwall and Highland Marts Ltd - Sale 18 September 2023

PORTREE., Dingwall and Highland Marts Ltd., (September 18th) sold 1,491 Weaned calves and store cattle at their annual direct ballot sale.   The Judge Mr Colin Petrie, Upper Meft, awarded the champion to a 5-month-old 280kg Limousin cross Bullock from Mr A Banks, 2 Torvaig, Portree realising £1,100.

FORT WILLIAM, Dingwall and Highland Marts Ltd., (September 13th) sold 376 spring born calves and store cattle.   Bullocks (198) averaged 301.4p (+19.2p) and sold 400.0p per kg for 180kg Charolais cross from Dunlichity, Farr and £1120 gross for a 450kg Limousin cross from Luriginish Farm, Appin.
