North Eyesore Gets Major Facelift
A north industrial estate which has lain derelict for years is set for a major overhaul and clean-up.   The £341,000 investment is being made to the site at Janetstown on the outskirts of Thurso in a joint collaboration between Caithness and Sutherland Enterprise (CASE) and local firm JGC Engineering and Technical Services Ltd.

New Business Women's Club
The Highland Business Women's Club was the fifth Scottish Businesswomen's Club launched in 1995.  It exists to provide a framework to support women in business by creating opportunities to make new social and professional contacts, exchange ideas and learn from experienced members of the business community and many other things.

Update Scorrie Internet Services no longer builds web sites for third parties.   The Scorrie domain name was taken up by another company not connected to us.  
Horses for Courses
Two north horse riding clubs have cleared the final hurdle in their bid to establish a cross country horse riding course for their members.   The Caithness Riding Club and the Caithness branch of The Pony Club are behind the £30,000 course which will be constructed this summer at Northfield near Halkirk in Caithness.
