An opportunity has arisen in our busy Wick factory for a Stores Person to work with the
team helping to deliver harsh environment and marine CCTV systems to new and
existing customers across a range of key sectors, in the UK and internationally.
The position is full-time, 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
Duties Include
• Accurate and timely picking of items from Stores for internal and external
customers.
• Timely picking and packing of items to ensure stipulated deadlines are met
• Manual handling and receiving of incoming shipments
• Receipting in all incoming goods and distribution as per instructions
• Loading and unloading using forklift
• Processing transactions on Business Central operating system
• Stock control including stock counts
• Follow QHSE processes
Qualifications & Requirements
• Good IT skills (including MS Office)
• Preferably 1 – 2 years related experience
• Stores/ warehousing background
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• COSHH awareness training is preferred
• Good numeracy skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload
• Ability to work as part of a team towards achieving shared objectives
• Strong commitment to providing a high quality service
