DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (October, 6th) sold 136 rams at its annual show and sale of Blackface rams, sponsored by PKN Nutrition and Scottish Woodlands. The overall champion was a shearling from Messrs MacDonald, Dalbuiack, Carrbridge, realising £1,000 to Mrs M.

The show champion sponsored by Barclays Transport, Portsoy and Zoetis with Surecalf was awarded to an eight month old Limousin cross bullock from A MacLean, 4 Bualnaluib, Aultbea scaling in at 305kg and realising £800 gross.
