Leask Marine Collects Award

At the Fourth annual Energy North Awards held in Inverness saw Leask Marine collect the top award for the Best Renewable Energy Service Supplier.
Organised by Energy North the event recognises the important contribution companies from across the region make to the success of the renewable energy and supply chain industries. Leask Marine the vessel charter and diving services collected the prize for Best Renewable Energy Service Supplier against stiff competition from many respected and established businesses.
Over 250 people from across the region attended the glittering ceremony to celebrate energy's finest at the new conference suite at the Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness. Hosted by Nicky Marr, with featured special guest, former Minister of State for Energy, Charles Hendry.

Mainland's most Northerly port.
The multi-cats have also serviced some 'flow-line bundle' launches at the Subsea 7 Wester site yard from Wick Harbour.

The company behind the world-leading tidal-stream prototype power plant in the Pentland Firth's Inner Sound is set to start manufacturing a new-style turbine that is hopes will reduce the project's generating costs.
