DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (October 23rd) sold 273 store cattle, and 95 OTM cattle.   Bullocks (153) averaged 290.6p per kg and sold to 372.0p per kg for a pen of 250kg Limousin crosses from Keil Farm, Ardgour and £1,620 gross for a 650kg Beef Shorthorn cross from Attadale Estate.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (October 18th) sold 263 Rams at its Second Continental Ram Sale.   Texels (78) sold to £1,800 gross for a Shearling from Mr W.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (October 16th) sold 476 store cattle and 138 OTM cattle Bullocks (278) averaged 304.3p per kg and sold to 475.5p per kg for a 265kg Limousin cross from Shop Farm, Scotscalder and £1,880 gross for a 580kg Limousin cross from Lower Whitebog, Fortrose.   Heifers (183) averaged 287.6p per kg and sold to 428.6p per kg for a Limousin cross from Shop Farm, Scotscalder and £2,000 gross for a 640kg Limousin from Lower Whitebog, Fortrose.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (October 15th) sold 11 Prime Cattle.   Prime Bullocks (3) averaged 302.2p per kg and sold to 313.0p per kg and £2,044.80 gross.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (October 9th) sold 948 weaned calves at their second annual district ballot show and sale kindly sponsored by NFU Mutual (Dingwall & Thurso).   Bullocks (538) averaged 337.0p and sold to 603.2p per kg and £1,900 gross for a 315kg Limousin cross from Easter Templand, Fortrose.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (October 4th) sold 180 rams at its Annual Show and Sale of Blackface Rams kindly sponsored by HBS Ring Limited and PK Nutrition ably judged by Miss S Tinney, Glenavon Estate.   The Overall Champion was a shearling from A & J, Nairn, Clashnoir realising £1,200.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (October 2nd) sold 671 weaned calves at their first annual district ballot show and sale.   Bullocks (362) averaged 327.5p (+22.9p on the year) and sold to 926.8p per kg and £1,900 gross for a 205kg Limousin cross from Seaview Cottage, Gairloch.

DINGWALL., Dingwall and Highlands Marts Ltd (September 27th) sold 6,324 Store lambs & feeding sheep.   Lambs (5,539) averaged £62.28 (+£9.24) and sold to £148 gross for a pair of Texel crosses from Salmon Bothy, Rockfield.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (September 25th) sold 988 store cattle, and 175 OTM cattle.   Bullocks (605) averaged 290.2 per kg and sold to 373.4p per kg for a pen of 391kg Limousin crosses from Strone Farm, Banavie and £1,780 gross for a pair of 6615kg Aberdeen Angus crosses from Drummond Farm, Evanton.

DINGWALL., Dingwall and Highlands Marts Ltd (September 19th) sold 1,027 store sheep for Lewis Livestock Producers Lewis lambs (936) averaged £61.38 and sold to £109 gross for a pen of Texel crosses from 12 Port of Ness.   Lewis feeding sheep (91) sold to £122 gross for a Cheviot ram from 5c Fivepenny, Ness.
